Salicru will be participating in the DatacenterDynamics Converged Congress

Monday, 30 march 2015

The main event focusing on the technological security of data centres  organised in Spain.

Salicru will be participating in the next edition of the DatacenterDynamics  Converged Congress to be held on 9 April at the Kinépolis conference centre in  Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid.

It is the main event focusing on data centres organised in Spain and brings  together both major IT infrastructure companies and managers of critical  environments that require technological solutions with maximum security and  reliability.

The growing business trend towards virtualisation and cloud computing has  prompted the ICT sector to improve the security of the information it handles,  and this has favoured the development, by power electronics companies, of  specific technologies which ensure maximum protection of databases.

Salicru will be participating in this event with the presentation of its new SLC  ADAPT series - a UPS range specially designed for data centres of all  capacities, IT infrastructures and modular and virtualised data centres -  critical services that require high-level electrical protection to ensure reliable,  continuous and high-quality operation.

The creation of data centres, and the critical processing of the information  they handle, is a great business opportunity for companies in the power  electronics sector. It is estimated that the installation of a UPS in a new data  centre represents between 3 and 5% of the total investment approximately.  Quantitatively, it is a small percentage, but qualitatively, it represents  considerable savings in terms of preventing data loss and providing a major  strategic advantage for companies with these types of technological  infrastructures.
