Enhanced protection for mid-range systems with single-phase power supply

Backup shorter than normal

Solution: Connect device to mains for 12 hours to fully charge batteries. If problem persists, replace batteries or consult distributor.

No indication or audible alarm when equipment connected to mains

Solution: Check mains supply and input cable connection.

Code: bLOW

Issue: Low battery.

Solution: Disconnect loads as UPS will shortly leave output without power. When mains supply returns, batteries will charge automatically.

Code: bOPN

Possible cause: Open battery.

Solution: B1 systems with external battery module(s), verify that they are correctly connected to the UPS.

Code: bYPA

Issue: During mains outage, load not supplied through Bypass mode.

Solution: Switch on by pressing ON button down for more than one second.

Code: EP

Possible cause: EPO (emergency power off) function activated.

Solution: Close EPO signal circuit (fit connector with jumper) to deactivate it.

Code: EPO

Issue: EPO function is enabled.

Solution: Check EPO switch circuit.

Code: FANF

Possible cause: Fan failure.

Solution: Check the UPS ventilation (clogged grilles, fan operation). In the event of an incident need, fill in the incident management form.

Code: OVLD

Issue: Overload.

Solution: Check loads, remove any non-critical ones. Power requested is higher than UPS’s.

Code: SHOR

Possible cause: Short circuit in the inverter or in the output.

Solution: Remove all loads and stop the UPS. Start without loads and verify results. If the problem disappears, check the charges. If the alarm remains, fill out the incident management form. Go here

Code: STBY

Issue: Load not supplied through no output mode.

Solution: Switch on by pressing ON button down for more than one second.

Possible cause: Internal failures.

Possible cause: Temperature incidents.

Solution: Check UPS ventilation (clogged grilles, fan operation) and room ambient temperature. If necessary after verifications, fill out the incident management form. Click here Click here
