Salicru’s professional experience in the protection of wind farms internationally is well known. Facilities in Japan, Korea, Mexico, Chile and Australia are some very recent examples in the history of our company. This experience is now being extended to different wind farms at home being built in Aragon and Galicia.
Salicru is supplying both autonomous communities with various DC power systems from its DC Power-S series with 125 Vdc output voltage. These devices provide a high-level power supply to critical systems, ensuring excellent operation with no unexpected outages. Also, because of their modular nature, they can be expanded according to needs, thus optimising the investment. Typical applications include fixed and mobile communications networks, broadband access networks and data and telecommunications networks.
In the case of Aragon, the devices will be used to guarantee supply to electrical substations in the wind farms of Monloras, Monloras IV, Valdenavarro, Romerales I, Romerales II and Cantera/Paracuellos de Jiloca, with a total of 231 MW of power.
And in the case of Galicia, devices from the same series will be used to guarantee supply to electrical substations in the wind farms of Campello and Ourol, with a total power of 70 MW.
