All Salicru’s series of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems meet the specifications of the Code of Conduct (CoC) created by the European Commission for assessing the energy efficiency of these devices. Our company, as a benchmark manufacturer of UPSs, has not only adopted the CoC, but all its series currently meet specifications in the Elite category, the most demanding of this initiative.
Salicru will supply a total of 200 Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems from the 2000VA SLC TWIN RT2 series to the telecommunications brand MásMóvil for implementing their power protection system on their 5G technology network, currently being deployed throughout Spain and which will allow their users to browse at higher speeds.
Supplying a 15 million litre water reservoir for irrigating a 20 hectare vineyard estate is the aim of the CV30-PV series devices in the ControlVIT range, which have been supplied by Salicru to the L’Almirall de Puigdespí, in the wine region of Conca de Barberà, Tarragona. Variable frequency drives are used for the solar powered pumping, which use radiation captured by solar panels as an energy source.
The International Energy Agency estimates that improvements in energy efficiency will contribute around 40% of the emission reductions needed to meet UN climate targets worldwide. It's clear, therefore, that energy efficiency is essential at all levels, and uninterruptible power systems (UPS) are no exception.
