Salicru has supplied a number of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to Aire Networks data centres in the cities of Malaga, Madrid and Talavera de la Reina (Toledo). They are the latest systems to be acquired by the Spanish wholesale telecommunications operator group, which boasts the most extensive presence and reach in both rural and urban environments.
Salicru has joined the Spanish Data Centre Association, otherwise known as Spain DC, as a partner. The association was created recently in order to promote the development of data centres in Spain, strengthen the economic growth of the sector and support its positioning as a core element of societal infrastructure through digital transformation.
The aim of the “Connected Schools” programme is to improve the quality of education by facilitating and consolidating the integration of ICT throughout schools in the Canary Islands. Over the last few years, Salicru has contributed to this innovative large-scale project in the education sector by supplying Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to protect the power supply to servers and peripheral equipment in the islands’ schools.

Salicru has supplied a number of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to the Sports Medicine Centre that Quirónsalud has opened in Madrid’s Caleido Tower. Located next to the Cuatro Torres Business Area complex on Paseo de la Castellana, the Caleido Tower is the seventh-tallest building in Spain and will house the country’s first “vertical university”, among other services.
