The selection process admits ten companies out of a pool of 200. The members of the CRE100DO Foundation, representing more than 100 companies in the Intermediate-Sized Enterprises (ISE) segment, have experienced an annual growth rate of 10% over the last ten years, compared to the 3.81% average for Spanish companies.
Salicru is now part of the community of companies representing the most prominent firms in the Spanish Intermediate-Sized Enterprise (ISE) segment. On the occasion of the Foundation’s tenth anniversary, CRE100DO hosted an event where ten companies joined its ranks. The aim of these gatherings is to highlight this business segment, which reaffirms itself each year as a key driver of the country’s economic development. A role that, according to data from the CRE100DO Foundation, is strengthened by the fact that the companies in this business community are sustainable over time thanks to their steady growth.
Evidence of this is the aggregate turnover of CRE100DO companies, amounting to €25 billion, equivalent to 1.6% of the national GDP, alongside the creation of 138,000 direct jobs. Moreover, their potential as economic and social drivers within their communities is another key aspect of their influence. CRE100DO companies are spread across the country, with 40% located in towns with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, such as Salicru, contributing to local job creation.
Rafael Vaquero, General Manager of the CRE100DO Foundation, advocates for “a framework that fosters Spain’s reindustrialization and recognizes the unique nature of ISEs, moving beyond the binary view of SMEs and large enterprises to also include ISEs.” For Antoni Garriga, Managing Director of Salicru, this represents “an opportunity to learn from cases similar to ours, sharing valuable knowledge on recurring issues such as talent retention and internationalization processes.”
