If there is one production process where electrical energy can never be absent, it is an assembly line. It is particularly crucial in the automotive sector, due to the interdependence of the different components in the assembly operation.
Mahle Electronics, a German car manufacturer with more than 77 thousand employees, 170 manufacturing centres and famous clients such as Citroën, Peugeot, VW, Seat and Ford, are well aware of this.
For this reason, the German multi-national company has placed its trust in Salicru's Uninterrupted Power Systems to ensure the continuity of its electronic board assembly line, which is located in Motilla de Palancar (Cuenca, Spain).
The 3 devices provided to the company are from the 500 kVA Adapt SLC series. This is a series of online double-conversion technology which uses DSP control technology and a three-level IGBT inverter, enabling configurable solutions ranging from 10 kVA to 1500 kVA thanks to the wide range of available modules.
