In accordance with its expansion plan, Salicru has opened the Salicru-Mexico affiliate to supply the national market, the Caribbean and Central America. Up until that time, they had some sales and after-sales service representation. This commitment to have its own team will enable greater coverage of the markets in nearby countries, boost the presence of Salicru solutions and introduce ILUEST lighting flow dimmer stabilizers.
Currently, Salicru’s objective is to participate in several telecommunications projects - a market niche that is on the rise in this country.
The financial forecasts for the Mexican branch include a 50% increase in turnover in 2009, and growth of between 20% and 30% over the next few years.
Some of the projects to highlight in which Salicru has participated in Mexico include the installation of several pieces of equipment in oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico for the Mexican oil company PEMEX, the sale of equipment for the Federal Electricity Commission which has an electricity monopoly in the country and a recent order for 19 rectifier and inverter sets for the Mexican Metro system.
