Salicru opens a new subsidiary in Brazil

The creation of Salicru Brazil reflects the company's strategic commitment to connect with its customers and strengthen its presence in Latin America. The new headquarters are the result of a strategic alliance between Salicru and the Brazilian company Power Solution, which has 27 years of solid market experience.

Salicru Brazil couples global technology and advanced engineering with a deep understanding of the Brazilian marketplace, offering a comprehensive portfolio that includes UPS devices, batteries for critical systems, rectifiers, converters and variable frequency drives, DC power systems, solar inverters, transformers, stabilisers and transfer solutions, as well as special projects for the railway sector. Its solutions are designed for mission-critical sectors such as data centres, hospitals, telecommunications, infrastructure, continuous process industries, and energy and transport, with a clear focus on operational continuity, power quality, efficiency, and sustainability.

With over 211 million inhabitants and a predominantly urban population, Brazil is Latin America's largest economy. It represents a continental-scale market with GDP growth of around 3% per annum, attracting significant foreign capital and demonstrating considerable economic buoyancy. Its diverse production structure, with a high percentage of income generated by the industrial and service sectors, makes it a particularly important environment for the industrial, technological and infrastructure sectors.

From a logistical point of view, Brazil offers key infrastructures for business operations in large metropolitan areas like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasilia, as well as the region's main container ports—Santos, Paranaguá, and Rio de Janeiro—which facilitate international trade. Salicru Brasil will offer local support, technical advice, and direct after-sales service, adapting its range of uninterruptible power supply (UPS), stabilisation, and energy-efficiency solutions to the specific needs of the Brazilian market. It will also allow us to provide enhanced support to industrial customers, critical infrastructures, data centres and energy projects. With the addition of Brazil, Salicru now operates three subsidiaries in the Latin American market: Peru, Mexico, and Brazil.
