Eduard Salicrú, CEO of SALICRU, has signed an agreement with Elvira Carles, Director of the FEC – Fundación Empresa y Clima (Enterprise and Climate Foundation), to be a SILVER member of this foundation created in 2008, and recognized in Europe for its work on sustainability, in response to the challenges posed by climate change and its direct and indirect impacts.

SALICRU’s main objective is to promote innovation and the development of solutions in power electronics, as well as the transition towards a low carbon economy. Eduard Salicrú thinks that "companies must commit to the Sustainable Development Goals, to provide products and services that reduce emissions and contribute to a cleaner future that is more respectful of the environment." Among the SALICRU products there are photovoltaic inverters, which generate alternating current from solar energy, variable frequency drives, which optimize the energy consumption of electric motors, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems capable of cleaning up disturbances in the electrical network and guaranteeing that electronic components work properly, to prevent changing electronic hardware.

As a leader in power electronics, the company directly contributes to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. SALICRU, which works in a 100% green energy environment, strives to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and promote access to affordable and clean energy sources (SDG 7). More than 15 years ago, SALICRU pioneered an energy-saving model in public lighting. In addition, its focus on power electronics contributes to the sustainability of the industry, innovation and infrastructure (SDG 9), by promoting the development of advanced and sustainable technologies in the energy sector. For its range of products, it also takes into account sustainable cities and communities (SDG 11), seeking to make human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. Energy plays an important role in the planning and management of cities, including providing affordable and sustainable energy for urban communities.
