In recent months, Salicru has supplied three high-power frequency converters to two markets as diverse as Angola and Estonia, as part of export transactions carried out through its local distributors.
In Angola, a 600 kVA SLC XTRA was supplied to a bottling plant for a very popular worldwide brand. The other two devices, 500 kVA SLC XTRAs, were supplied to Estonia to provide power to American ships that dock at the port of Tallinn.
The SLC XTRA is a three-phase UPS that incorporates a frequency converter function with optimised features for the protection of industrial production in electrically complicated environments.
Based on the VFI (Voltage and Frequency Independent) operating mode, the SLC XTRA has been developed with double-conversion AC-DC-AC On-line technology. This means that the inverter can continuously supply the load both in mains and non-mains mode. This configuration guarantees the best service, as it continuously provides clean power that ensures voltage stability and frequency at rated values.
