Salicru has supplied 60 Equinox2 T 12.5 kW inverters to a renewable energy generation plant in Valladolid as part of a revamping project. The scope of the project will be extended with the supply of an additional 30 units, reaching a total of more than one megawatt of installed power.
The plant, which generates renewable energy for grid feed-in and is having its key equipment refurbished to optimise its efficiency and extend its lifespan, forms part of a global entity with a total installed capacity of over 12 GW and development potential of more than 7 GW. Its activity extends throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia, with a growth strategy based on the acquisition, development and conversion of solar, wind and storage projects in OECD markets.
This latest contribution underscores Salicru’s ongoing commitment to the energy transition and to facilitating the modernisation of the key infrastructures needed to generate clean and sustainable energy. The Equinox2 T inverters are well known for their high efficiency and reliability when it comes to converting solar energy into electricity, making them suitable for grid feed-in. With an efficiency of over 97.9%, they guarantee optimal utilisation of photovoltaic energy, and their transformerless three-phase design features IP65 protection and natural convection cooling, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation and ensuring stable operation in various environmental conditions. Equipped with dual MPPT, they maximise energy production in installations with varying solar orientations, and their advanced RS485 and WiFi communication systems facilitate remote monitoring and optimise performance.
