The United Kingdom’s National Health Service (NHS) and its associated emergency services are installing various Salicru uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems in hospitals and healthcare centres. The installation also includes technical maintenance services for the systems in question.
For the important process of renewing its power electronic equipment, the NHS has placed its trust in the extensive experience of Powerworks, our UK partner for over 25 years, to protect the power supply of the country’s critical infrastructure. The company’s technicians have also been contracted to provide maintenance services for over 750 UPS systems, in order to ensure optimum functionality and extend their useful life.
Also of note in the healthcare field is the agreement to supply modular UPS systems from the SLC ADAPT series to support the new NHS111 call centre named CALL ME, which enables patients to obtain telephone-based medical support.
