Involvement in society is one of Salicru’s values. One of the values that both the company and its employees permanently transfer to different spheres of action, especially in the world of sport.
As an example of this commitment, in the last month, two teams of Salicru employees participated in two sports and solidarity races.
The first of these consisted of the company’s team of runners taking part in the latest edition of Trailwalker, a solidarity race against poverty and hunger organised by Oxfam-Intermon. The donations raised will be used for cooperation, humanitarian action, fair trade and awareness-raising projects in more than 90 countries.
The second activity was the mountain bike team’s participation in the Oncobike sports and solidarity challenge held in the Vall de Llémena in Girona, with the aim of raising funds for the Oncolliga Girona Foundation, a non-profit organisation that works to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.
These activities complement Salicru’s regular collaboration with the Spanish Red Cross, which has been supported for several years.
