Catalonia's Telecommunications and Information Technology Centre (Centro de Telecomunicaciones y Tecnologías de la Información, CTTI) invests in sustainable solar energy using Salicru technology. The project uses EQUINOX2 solar inverters.
The use of solar energy by the public administration reduces environmental impacts by lowering the dependence on fossil fuels and implies a representative saving in long-term energy costs. By incorporating these solutions, organisations such as the CTTI become benchmarks for social responsibility and energy efficiency, aligning themselves with global targets for reducing emissions and caring for the environment. Two EQX2 50004-T units, offering high efficiency and advanced design, were selected for this project. Sociedad Española de Construcciones Eléctricas (SECE), the company that won the contract, chose the two EQX2 50004-T units for their high efficiency and advanced design. With two hundred solar panels and a production capacity of 100 kW, a second phase is now planned to bring the installation’s capacity up to 150 kW.
Salicru's EQUINOX2 T series is a three-phase solution that combines cutting-edge technology with an optimised design. Designed to reduce thermal stress, guarantee durability and offer consistent performance, the series also benefits from a user-friendly installation that takes up minimal space and features MPPT control with a wide voltage range. Offering a high-visibility OLED control panel and neat aesthetics, these three-phase inverters blend seamlessly into any installation.
With a power range from 4 kW to 100 kW, the EQUINOX2 T inverters are an ideal choice for large-scale projects. The free EQUINOX app and web portal allow you to monitor the current status of your photovoltaic system, view historical data and track real-time power production.
