Salicru’s connectivity solutions are capable of connecting the units made by the company up to the different levels of communication required by its customers, enabling them to do their work more effectively and efficiently.

In order to always offer its customers solutions and products with a high added value, Salicru devotes a yearly average of 4% of its turnover to Technological Research and Development (R&D), a much higher percentage than most national and European technological companies. An example of the improvements brought in is Salicru’s firm stake on implementing connectivity solutions, which include the availability of software and hardware in different languages, the encrypting of communication in SNMP environments (protocols monitoring devices of the computer network) and the management of virtual servers (both XEN and VMWare).

The latest update of the company's connectivity solutions was the incorporation of multi-language capacities (Spanish, French, German and English) in its SNMP/WebAdapter communications cards. Similarly, the software that allows virtual servers to be shut down in an orderly manner (RCCMD) now includes the latest versions of virtualisation systems, either for CITRIX XEN environments or for VMWare ESX Server 3x-4x, VMWare ESXi 4x-5x con vMA4.0 and higher.

One practical case of these applications is that offered by the Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat railways (Barcelona), which have installed 32 Salicru UPS in all of their stations, which include connectivity solutions to be able to monitor the whole of their railway network. These solutions boast communication cards with temperature and humidity sensors in order to correctly control the environmental conditions in the electrical rooms and, in the most critical stations, battery management and control systems enabling correct management both of the UPS operation and of the batteries and atmospheric conditions from a centralised monitoring control room.
