To mark its 50th anniversary, Salicru is participating as a sponsor of Robotseny – a project that aims to stimulate interest in science and technology among young people in Sant Celoni (Barcelona).

The project, which uses educational robotics as a means of learning, is taking place during the current school year and involves the participation of pupils in the 5th and 6th year of primary school and 1st and 2nd year of secondary school in Sant Celoni. 

Robotseny has different stages. The first consists of a scientific project related to the treatment of waste and the second involves the creation of a robot from Lego parts which has to perform various skills tests related to the environment and the businesses of the sponsoring companies. Finally, in the third stage, a cooperative-competitive tournament takes place in which the selected teams present their science projects to the project’s judging panel and show how they overcome the challenges posed with their robots.
