The SPS HOME+ is available in three power versions (650, 850 and 1000 VA) and now comes with eight compact power sockets that have been orientated with easy connection in mind. Thanks to its line-interactive technology, the SPS HOME+ maintains a constant, clean power flow to protect your devices against power outages and surges, and six of its sockets have battery backup to ensure essential equipment continues to operate, even in the event of an electrical failure.

One of the most notable improvements is the compatibility with APFC (Active Power Factor Correction) offered by all the models, optimising the power consumption of connected devices and allowing the connection of specific power supplies. The 1000 VA model features a Master-Slave function that automatically disconnects secondary devices when the main device is turned off, thereby reducing standby power consumption. For example, when the computer (master device) is switched off, the monitor and peripherals (slave devices) also lose power, effectively shutting everything down and preventing phantom power consumption.

The USB HID port on the 850 VA and 1000 VA models allows for configuration of the UPS and ensures a safe shutdown of your PC or Mac. The SPS Home+ series also offers two USB ports for fast charging of mobile devices (Type A and Type C), improved LED indicators that make it easier to monitor the system’s status and a mute button designed for quiet environments that prevents audible alarms from sounding during a power failure.
