Of the many initiatives that Salicru has participated in as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, its collaboration on various projects aimed at manufacturing a respirator for hospital patients requiring assisted ventilation stands out.
Of these projects involving Salicru devices, the MAR continuous flow respirator project led by Barcelona-based engineering firm MOSE has received one of the Industria 4.0 Prizes from Industria 4.0 Forum, sharing the award with eight other respirator projects.
These awards are promoted by the six engineering professional associations of Catalonia, who wanted to recognise the initiative, effort and capacity of all projects that have arose from the technological and industrial environment to help address the problems brought about by Covid-19.
