Salicru has won the public tender process organised by the Consell Insular de Majorca (Spain) to supply uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to various telecommunications facilities in the Council’s office.
Specifically, the company has supplied 25 SLC TWIN RT2 units with UPS systems (ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 VA) to 12 corporate administration centres and four vehicle inspection (ITV) centres, for the purposes of protecting the centres’ communication racks.
The SLC TWIN RT2 series that has now been installed in Majorca Island Council’s facilities is a highly advanced solution providing continuous electrical protection for critical systems. It combines the most reliable double-conversion technology (AC/DC-DC/AC) on the market and boasts a unity output power factor (VA=W) to enable it to power systems with high energy requirements, while offering high operating efficiency.
