Salicru’s energy manager now offers more features and possibilities to optimise the management of photovoltaic installations and facilitate the work of electrical and photovoltaic installers through more efficient and versatile tools.
The SLC Energy Manager has been upgraded to include an overvoltage control loop for weak lines. This enhancement enables grid injection without the risk of surges that could cause a solar installation to shut down. The device can now monitor the amount of energy in circulation, ensuring that the inverter remains operational instead of shutting down.
Additionally, a new export control function has been introduced. This feature allows any surplus energy produced to be automatically directed through a relay to power a non-critical load, such as a lighting system or a secondary HVAC system. One significant advantage is that the system is now compatible with INVT, Huawei, and Growatt inverters (please consult specific models) for monitoring and export control. It features a quick setup wizard that makes the integration of different devices easier and faster, allowing for more comprehensive integration across various types of installations.
Additionally, there are features specifically designed for installers, such as a quick and straightforward startup process with remote detection and configuration of phase rotations for three-phase models, which expedites installation and minimises the potential for errors. It also remotely configures the polarity of current transformers, simplifying system calibration and adjustment. A real-time graphical measurement window facilitates monitoring and instant analysis of the installation’s electrical parameters.
Lastly, the SLC Energy Manager now allows multi-device management in the same plant from the Equinox APP, showing the sum of the different energy managers while also allowing users to access data for each one individually. This feature is particularly beneficial for large installations where monitoring multiple control points is essential. Each SLC Energy Manager has the capacity to manage up to 30 solar inverters, making it a scalable and adaptable solution for different PV project sizes.
