The Almería-based glass manufacturer F. Sola in Fines has installed ten 100 kW EQUINOX2 T solar inverters to produce energy for its facilities. The project is an excellent example of the scalability of Salicru’s equipment, with a number of devices installed in parallel to comprise a single solar infrastructure.
The inverters were installed by Soluciones Energéticas Almería SL (SOLEAL) and replace the existing 100 kW system. The company decided to replace its existing equipment with Salicru inverters in view of the fact that the EQUINOX series outperforms the inverters of other brands, thanks to its ability to start up under very low voltage. The new system has 100 MPPTs to connect the extensive array of solar panels, and enables the company to track its savings (both monetary and in terms of carbon footprint) via the Equinox app.
F. Sola has been manufacturing glass for over 40 years and carries out the main glass-working and manufacturing processes at its own facilities.
