Four UPSs have been supplied to the Government of Catalonia’s new administrative district in Barcelona for the electrical protection of different technological equipment.
The site is a new office complex located in Zona Franca which will house around 3,000 civil servants from different regional government departments.
The UPSs supplied are from the SLC ADAPT series and each have power ratings of 300 kVA. Their main purpose will be the protection of the computer systems and data centres of this administrative district, which will soon become operational.
Salicru’s SLC ADAPT series consists of various modular on-line double conversion solutions with DSP control and three-level IGBT inverter technology. At the same time, it offers increased protection as needs grow - pay as you grow - thereby improving total cost of ownership (TCO).
