Salicru has had a presence in Saudi Arabia for more than 25 years. We have always considered it a strategic market, owing to its wide-ranging possibilities for expansion.
These possibilities have become even more evident in the last financial year, for example, in which Saudi Arabia was one of the best-performing markets worldwide in terms of sales.
Historically, the two most popular Salicru products in this country have been our Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and our rectifiers. Although we have sold these devices in a range of different sectors, including industry, hospitals and universities, our most important market within Saudi Arabia is banking.
By way of example, we recently supplied 100 three-phase UPS systems to Riyad Bank, 100 single-phase UPS systems to the Arab National Bank, and 1,000 stabilisers to Al Rajhi Bank, in order to protect devices in the offices of these three banks around the country.
