In critical environments in which safety depends on an optimal power supply, such as air traffic, the best protection is to have Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to guarantee a safe, continuous, clean, reliable, cheap and ecological power supply. One of Salicru's recent projects that best illustrates this application is the supply of 38 SLC TWIN PRO and SLC TWIN RT UPS to London Heathrow airport, one of the busiest in the world.

These units are applied in such infrastructure in many ways including control towers, check-in desks, security control, etc.; in this case the UPS are intended for the new passenger boarding piers or fingers required by Heathrow airport following its last extension. The installation came through a commercial agreement with the ThyssenKrupp Group, the leading company in industrial and business technological solutions with more than 150,000 employees in 80 countries. This project consolidates Salicru as a supplier in the sector as it now works in the principal domestic and international airports, including El Prat in Barcelona and Barajas in Madrid.

The SLC TWIN PRO and SLC TWIN RT series that Salicru recently launched give maximum reliability in electrical protection for business and industrial systems and are the best possible protection for ERP systems, CRM platforms, Business Intelligence (BI) and intranets/extranets, amongst other things.

They are UPS with On-line double conversion technology (the most reliable on the market) and a wide range of powers from 700 VA to 20 kVA as well as an output power factor of 0.9. Convertible in tower or rack format and with possible parallel/redundant configuration, they adapt to the qualitative and quantitative growth needs of every installation. Their main performances also particularly include broad options of interface communication + monitoring/automatic file close software, batteries for standard autonomy built into the cabinet itself and options for extending the back-up for processes requiring greater available autonomy.
