Voltage stability is essential in many industrial and business processes: from a wide range of applications where numerical control processors and automatons deal with guaranteeing the final result, to all kinds of calculation centres, computer peripherals, laboratory equipment, transmission and communications equipment, etc.

In the last of these, Telecom Angola’s electronic protection has been one of the most important projects in which Salicru has recently participated with large telecommunications companies, with the installation of 205 RE electronic stabilisers of powers between 20 and 60 kVA. Salicru’s RE series of electronic stabilisers constitute the fastest and most precise electronic regulation on the market and are based on a completely static, high efficiency structure with great response speed and excellent output precision, made in single phase or three-phase configuration and in powers ranging from 300 VA to 1000 kVA.

Salicru’s RE three-phase units are conceived for totally independent phase regulation in order to avoid possible adjustment problems due to imbalances in the loads. The units also include a static bypass that guarantees the power supply in the event of any possible failure. Other advantages: ultrafast regulation with a response time of under 100 ms, control and testing of the parameters by microprocessor per phase, completely static structure without moving elements, giving greater reliability and static bypass for units of more than 1 kVA to achieve loads always supplied and provided with local monitoring and parameterisation on an LCD display and remotely using the SICRES telemanagement card.
