SALICRU has won the contest to supply “Supercomputing National Centre's” (CNS) Data Process Centre (CPD). Selected equipment has been a SLC 80 CUBE STR (80 kVA) with 20 minute self-support. Set-up done successfully and human team in charge have shown special satisfaction, for 'it prooved to be a complex setting up 100% SALICRU's, freeing CNS from whatever worry' . The equipment holds an all-risk 3 year guarantee.
The “Supercomputing National Centre”, known as well as Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), is managed by Spanish Science & Technology Ministry, Catalonian Government and CatalonianPolytechnical University consortium. It started-up on 2005 and shelters Marenostrum supercomputer, one of the most powerful in Europe. CNS was born with Research & Development mission Information Technology to ease scientific progress. It is specialized in Computing Science, Biotechnology and Earth Sciences areas.
