Iluest+ becomes part of Poland’s commitment to making savings on street lighting

For over two decades, Salicru has been a pioneer in achieve an accurate regulation in street lighting systems thanks to its Iluest+ range of lighting flow dimmers-voltage stabilisers, which provide significant energy and maintenance savings. In addition to China, France and Morocco, where Salicru has participated in strategic street lighting projects, another emerging market that has placed its trust in the company’s experience in order to reduce energy bills and CO2 emissions is Poland. Through its Polish partner, Rabbit, with which Salicru has worked for more than a decade, over 400 Iluest systems have been installed in cities such as Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Gdynia, Czestochowa, Torun, Walbrzych, Swidnica, Swiecie, Przemysl and Tarnów.

One of its most emblematic projects in terms of size and volume of savings is the motorway network in the north and south of the country.Rabbit, which is based in Wroclaw (Breslavia), is the country’s first company to specialise in energy saving solutions for street lighting. The installation of this equipment makes it possible to achieve 40% savings on street lighting bills, which, in the case of Poland, represents an annual energy saving of 18.000 MWh (€ 1 million in economic terms) and a reduction in CO2 emissions by up to 10.000 tonnes.

The Iluest+ range features the latest technology available for better regulation, management, control and savings in modern outdoor lighting installations, providing perfect stabilisation for street lights through linear and continuous regulation between states. The available formats make the most of the modularity of this series. The modules can be configured to enable them to be integrated with maximum flexibility into a specific installation in street lighting cabinets of any size and proportion, even in small spaces.

All of this makes this series the most compact on the market. This equipment is designed to be installed at the feeder pillar, which precludes the need for the cumbersome supplementary wiring of other systems, thus providing savings on installation costs. Moreover, as the system is completely static with an absence of moving parts, its useful life is longer and it can respond faster to sudden changes in power supply voltage, thus protecting more effectively the always delicate discharge lamps
