Salicru has been an important promoter of the Asociación de Fabricantes de Equipos Reductores Estabilizadores de Flujo (AFEREF) (Association of Lighting Flow Dimmer Stabilisers Manufacturers), a new body seeking to group together manufacturers of light flow dimmer-stabiliser equipment for public lighting, to defend their interests before both private and public bodies and organizations.

Its main targets include the creation of technical, legislative and regulatory standards, as well as contributing to the promotion, improvement and performance of its member companies, while at the same time, organize information, advice, consultation and management services.  The association seeks to help its members in such aspects as collective bargaining, social dialogue, training and technical-scientific updating courses, dissemination of information and promotion.

The official presentation of the new association took place on the 21st of July at the main office in Madrid of the Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Iluminación (ANFALUM) (Spanish Association of Lighting Manufacturers), the host organization.  Until now, in addition to Salicru, the members of AFEREF included the following firms: Orbis Tecnología Eléctrica, Mimaven and Servitec Control de Iluminación.

Salicru currently holds the vice-presidency. It is backed by more than twenty years of experience in the sector and 15,000 Iluest lighting flow dimmer stabilisers installed in Spain. The technology used in this equipment offers a series of advantages, both economic and environmental; over time, they have become a reference for street lighting projects, not only in Spain, but also in China, France, Poland, Tunisia and Morocco.
