Telecable is a cable operator with its headquarters in the Gijón technology park that supplies telephony, internet and television by fibre optics around the region of Asturias (Spain). The last project for the company, which has always turned to Salicru for energy protection in its systems, was the installation of 400 SPS.SOHO UPS units of 600 VA of power.

Their principal function will be to protect the electrical power supply of the telecommunications equipment giving access to the converging Ethernet Virtual Private Network (VPN) in the rack of Telecable business customers, and the protection and power supply of the telephony terminal unit located in the lower complex of telecommunications installations of dwellings to ensure the operation of the lift emergency telephone lines.

The SPS.SOHO series with Line-interactive technology and available in powers of 400 to 2,000 VA, gathers all of the necessary performance for improved protection of computer equipment. Permanent input voltage stabilisation causes a lower use of batteries to achieve maximum autonomy if necessary. For better integration in the protected environment, they also include USB communication with complete monitoring and control software capable of automatically shutting down computer systems in the event of prolonged cuts.

They also incorporate a powerful display as standard with all information on input power, output power, load level, battery level and state of operation.
