Warranty

 

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY:

We thank you in advance for the confidence you placed in us by purchasing this product. Please read this warranty document carefully before starting up the device.

 

SALICRU, S.A. (“Salicru”) guarantees the end user of any Salicru device that:

  • All the products manufactured and marketed by Salicru are thoroughly examined and must meet Salicru's strict quality controls.
  • The devices meet the quality standards indicated.
  • They are free from defects in design, manufacture and/or materials.

 

Warranty period

 

The warranty period commences:

(1) If the product is registered: The warranty will start from the date of online registration within the thirty (30) days after purchase.

(2) If the product is not registered: The warranty will start from the date of the original purchase. Proof of the original purchase is required, such as an invoice or receipt.

If proof of the date of the original purchase cannot be provided, the warranty will start from the date of manufacture.

The established warranty period for the products is as follows:

 

- For Spain and Portugal:

For private use:

  • 3-year warranty.
  • 10 years for Equinox2 photovoltaic inverters for mains connection / 5 years for Equinox2 hybrid models (5-year for Equinox models).

 

For professional use:

  • 2 years for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems with single-phase input and variable frequency drives
  • 10 years for Equinox2 photovoltaic inverters for mains connection / 5 years for Equinox2 hybrid models (5-year for Equinox models).
  • 1 year for all other products

 

- For countries in the rest of the world:

  • 2 years for UPSs with single-phase output and variable frequency drives
  • 10 years for Equinox2 photovoltaic inverters for mains connection / 5 years for Equinox2 hybrid models (5-year for Equinox models).
  • 1 year for all other products

 

Repair or replacement during the warranty period

 

- For Spain and Portugal:

For devices installed in such countries and for UPS ranges with single-phase output, variable frequency drives up to 30kW and solar inverters, Salicru will replace the defective product with a new, refurbished or reconditioned product, without prior notice. Standard shipping costs from Salicru to the original buyer will be borne by Salicru. For all other products, the warranty includes free repair on our premises or on-site assistance. The quickest and most effective repair option in each case will be selected at Salicru's discretion.

 

- For countries in the rest of the world:

The warranty includes free repair on our premises or on-site assistance. The quickest and most effective repair option in each case will be selected at Salicru's discretion.

In all cases, the warranty for the replacement product will be ninety (90) days or the time remaining on the original warranty, whichever is longer.

The repaired product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty.

The parts and/or devices substituted in the repairs will become the property of Salicru.

 

 

Exclusions

This warranty will only apply if the end user has scrupulously observed the safety, installation, start-up and operating instructions defined by Salicru.

 

In none of the following circumstances will Salicru accept liability for faults in devices:

(i) the connection instructions specified by Salicru have not been observed;

(ii) improper or abusive use;

(iii) connections that are non-compliant with the 'CE / UL / CMIM, etc.' marking;

(iv) connections linked together with other UPS systems, power terminals, surge protectors or extension cables;

v) electrical wiring that is non-compliant with technical regulations;

(vi) manipulation of devices not authorised by Salicru;

(vii) faults caused by external causes such as fire, explosion, lightning, water damage, theft, vandalism, and atmospheric phenomena such as floods, earthquakes and acts of terrorism;

(viii) falls or breaks suffered by the device, whether deliberate or accidental; and (ix) normal wear of the device.

 

Any accessories provided with the devices (cables, pen drive, etc.) are excluded from the warranty.

The warranty will be rendered invalid if repairs or alterations are performed by individuals who have not been authorised by the manufacturer, by non-official technical services or if the device has been repaired with non-original replacement parts or accessories, as well as if the defect has been caused by the repair or alteration performed by an individual who has not been authorised by the manufacturer or with non-original parts or accessories.

The battery warranty does not cover normal degradation (including chemical aging, cycle count, and float service duration), nor damage resulting from deep discharge, overcharge, improper installation, operation outside specified temperature ranges, or improper storage conditions.

 

Warranty extensions and/or maintenance/remote maintenance contracts

Salicru offers a wide range of services in addition to the standard warranty included with the device, such as warranty extensions, maintenance contracts at different times and under different modalities and remote maintenance contracts for the continued monitoring of devices.

Limitations

Salicru will not, under any circumstances or for any reason, accept liability under the terms of this warranty for direct or indirect losses, such as loss of business, loss of profit, loss of services, software or information, damage to any non-hardware media, or damage to, or loss of, any kind of property. This warranty is subject to the national laws of the country where the device is used.

 

If any clause of this warranty is determined to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part by any competent authority, the validity of the remaining clauses and the rest of the clause in question will not be affected. These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice to comply with our practice of continuous effort to offer improved services.
