Salicru, the electronics company, has closed 2008 with a turnover of 43 million Euros, 2.5% higher than last year. This figure includes the results for the domestic, export and services markets.
The increased turnover is due to the security of sales channels on the national electric and information processing market; increased complementary services such as the Sicres remote management system or the different types of maintenance; as well as some large export operations.
Salicru is the first national company in power electronics in Spain and leader in each of its product ranges within the segment of Spanish manufacturers. And it is also in Spain where 70% of all sales take place compared to 30% exported to different countries. Its main business line corresponds to the manufacture and marketing of UPS –uninterruptible power supplies-, with 55% of the total volume, followed by ILUEST –lighting flow dimmer stabilisers- which represent 24%.
For this financial year, and after considering the poor global economic perspectives, Salicru forecasts reaching a turnover of 44 million Euros this year mainly as a result of launching new products designed to potentiate energy efficiency.
