SPS ATS
Salicru's SPS ATS series is an automatic switch between two single-phase AC power lines which, starting from two sine-wave current power lines, supplies output voltage to the load(s). The switching can be automatic or manual. The LCD display and status LEDs continually report the status of the device, working mode and values of the main measurements.
It has extensive communication possibilities through integrated USB, RS-232 and potential-free contact interfaces, or optional inclusion on an SNMP platform. In addition, by means of the parameter-setting software available, parameters such as delays, overload levels, voltage and frequency ranges, line sensitivity, potential-free contacts, etc., can be set.
The exceptional functionality of the SPS ATS makes it indispensable for cases where a greater amount of upstream redundancy is required, whether due to specific regulations or the client’s own decision. Examples include the IT systems used by banks, medium-sized offices, supermarkets, etc. Clearly, and in addition to its preventive function, this system is also recommended for environments where frequent deficiencies in the main power supply mean that responsive, safe and rapid switching between different power sources is required.
The software supplied with the device enables the user to configure critical parameters, such as sensitivity, the number of test reiterations to return to the priority line and the time intervals between them, performance thresholds, delays, etc. As a result, the system is extremely complete and very easy to use.
In addition to USB and RS232 connections and an SNMP card slot, the SPS ATS allows users to select from 14 different alarms, which can be directed at the relays for the potential-free contacts of the DRY CONTACT socket. The new model also includes a connector for installing a remote emergency stop.
