This solution has been specifically designed to revamp, i.e. renovate and upgrade older solar plants, optimising their performance and extending their useful life. New residential and industrial batteries are also available as options for hybrid systems.
The EQUINOX2 T-RV was developed to meet a genuine market need: to replace old inverters designed for a single high-intensity line, adapting perfectly to the existing configuration without the need for major modifications. Its lighter, more efficient and user-friendly design simplifies both installation and maintenance, providing an immediate improvement in the overall performance of the plant.
Available in 33 kW, 60 kW and 100 kW versions, the EQUINOX2 T-RV offers maximum power flexibility, adapting to the particular requirements of the plant. Its low start-up voltage (200 Vdc) and the ability to deliver an additional 10% of rated power further enhance its efficiency and responsiveness to peaks in demand.
The kit includes a Distribution Box that facilitates a quick, practical, and secure upgrade of older installations, ensuring seamless integration.
Additionally, the new model is a complete “all-in-one” solution, featuring advanced monitoring systems, reporting capabilities, and an anti-combiner box, which together provide enhanced control and real-time performance tracking. With a standard 10-year warranty that can be extended to 20 years, the EQUINOX2 T-RV represents a clear commitment to reliability and durability.
Among its main features are a generous operating temperature range, integrated DC and AC surge protection, the use of silicon carbide (SiC) components for increased energy efficiency, and an optimised thermal layout that improves heat dissipation and extends the product's service life.
Residential batteries: modular efficiency for the home
Residential batteries are the perfect complement to domestic hybrid systems. These modular solutions, with capacities ranging from 5 to 20 kWh, allow you to accumulate the energy generated during the day for use at times of low or zero solar production, ensuring greater independence from the electricity grid.
Their design is based on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) technology, renowned for its excellent safety, thermal stability and durability, achieving up to 6,000 charge and discharge cycles with a 10-year warranty. Every module includes an independent DC-DC converter, enabling parallel connections and simplifying the scaling up of storage capacity without the need for complex balancing procedures.
The system's modular design allows adaptation to any energy requirement or investment level, from individual homes to shared self-consumption setups. Its colour LCD screen monitoring system provides real-time information on the charge status, while WiFi and Ethernet connectivity enable remote management via digital platforms.
Another noteworthy feature is their straightforward installation: the modules are stacked using quick connectors and mechanical guide bolts, reducing assembly time. With an IP65 protection rating, operation between –10°C and 50°C, and an aesthetic and compact design, they offer a robust and elegant solution for residential settings.
Industrial batteries: large-scale storage
In the business and distributed generation sectors, industrial batteries enhance the energy efficiency and stability of larger plants, adapting to the demanding scenarios of continuous or variable consumption. These solutions offer capacities ranging from 25 to 60 kWh per unit, expandable up to 360 kWh through modular connection.
Like their domestic counterparts, they utilise LiFePO₄ technology, boasting a useful life of more than 6,000 cycles, full connectivity (WiFi, Ethernet, RS485, CAN 2.0), and compatibility with the EQUINOX2 hybrid range. Their rack-type structure facilitates maintenance and scalability, while their natural or forced cooling systems ensure stable operation even in demanding industrial environments.
For outdoor installations, a 60 kWh cabinet with integrated air conditioning and fire protection systems is available, which is also designed to accommodate the inverter on one side. This “all-in-one” format optimises space, protects components from extreme conditions (–30°C to 50°C) and ensures compliance with international safety standards.
Thanks to their scalable storage capacity and the option to integrate them with energy management systems, these batteries offer an ideal solution for businesses, energy communities, or isolated industrial facilities, where continuity of supply and optimisation of self-consumption are critical.
