SALICRU electronics company has installed, via its Monelec distributor, 125 lighting flow dimmer-stabilizers in Malaga city center district which will allow a 165000 € yearly saving, 2400 MegaWatts yearly consumption decrease and 950 Tons yearly minus CO2 emissions.
Centre district lighting is the first to have such luminic voltage stabilisation systems due to Malaga's government initiative, along with Andalusian Energy Agency.
Light invoice saving in such district will amount to 165000 € yearly; having a 660879 € investment co-funded by Malaga's “Agencia Municipal de Energía”(75%) and “Agencia Andaluza de Energía”(25%). Back-investment is up to 4 years.
This act belongs to a much more ambitious project so as to set stabilizer-reducers in all electrical master switches related to Malaga's lighting. SALICRU will be in next public-competition calls, so that ILUEST+ lighting flow dimmer-stabilizers are again selected.
This equipments reduce public lighting lamps light flux taking into account specific hours and context where a maximum level of lighting is not needed. Moreover, they fix voltage preventing voltage ups and downs, which cause electrical flux variations overflow or underflow and diminishing lamps useful lifespan. For example's sake, a 10000 inhabitants population, with a 1700 net light points, forwards a yearly 1210 MW consumption. By means of 13 ILUEST 30 kVA, saving will be 490 MW yearly, preventing as well, 270 Tm CO2 to atmosphere.
