In recent months, Salicru has supplied several UPSs to the Spanish Armed Forces for the protection of a range of installations. In all of these transactions, the different military branches assessed the technical features of the devices and the coverage that the company’s Technical Service & Support offers throughout Spain.
In particular, the Navy was supplied with UPSs for its naval bases in Rota, Ferrol, Cartagena and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, its amphibious assault ship Juan Carlos I and its General Headquarters in Madrid.
The Air Force was supplied with UPSs for its air medical service aircraft at Torrejón de Ardoz Air Base (Madrid) to protect their surgical and intensive care equipment.
Lastly, UPSs were supplied to the headquarters of the Chiefs of the Spanish Defence Staff (EMAD) at Retamares military base in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Madrid).
The series supplied included SLC CUBE3+, SLC Twin RT2, SLC Twin Pro2 and SLC Adapt UPSs, all of which are high-performance devices for critical applications to ensure superior electrical protection in the event of mains supply failure.
