The SLC CUBE3+ and SLC TWIN PRO series have been installed in Oostkamp, Blankenberge, and Oostende to ensure the continuity of telecommunications systems during emergencies.
Several fire stations across Belgium have implemented Salicru Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to protect their telecommunications equipment in the event of power failures. The installed devices safeguard the telecommunications systems that manage emergency calls to the stations. In the event of a power outage, they provide a continuous power supply to servers, telephone exchanges, and other critical equipment, ensuring that there is no interruption in their ability to receive alerts for fires, accidents, or other emergencies. This ensures that communications are not affected during an emergency, allowing for an immediate and coordinated response from the emergency services.
A 10 kVA SLC CUBE3+ (three-phase/single-phase) has been installed in the Oostkamp fire station, and a 15 kVA unit has been installed in the station in Oostende. In addition, a 10 kVA SLC TWIN PRO3 system has been supplied to the Blankenberge facilities, expanding service coverage in the region. The SLC TWIN PRO3 units feature an intelligent, optimised charging system that extends battery life through rest periods and three charging levels, adjusting the current according to the configuration and compensating for temperature. They include an RJ45 port for real-time monitoring of battery status. In addition, they feature Ethernet and WiFi connectivity for IoT integration, with remote access via the cloud, the NIMBUS app and the web. The hardware incorporates protection against voltage spikes, overheating and ventilation failure. Battery cabinets can be added to offer improved backup and current and voltage adjusted as required, with the option of high-capacity chargers in the B1 range.
In Belgium, Salicru works with MCE UPS, which has more than 30 years of experience in the power electronics sector. Its industrial electrical installers serve a wide range of customers, primarily in East and West Flanders.
