Salicru has validated the delivery of 10 SLC X-PERT 160 kVA systems for the new Echelon-DUB10 data centre, a power and data infrastructure project with an IT load capacity of 90 MW, and with a power generation centre of 120 MW. Ardilaun Electrical Services (AES LTD), a regular partner of Salicru, is responsible for the design and installation of this project.
The power centre will be connected to the local medium-voltage grid that supplies the entire data infrastructure, ensuring an uninterrupted and high-quality flow of energy. It is here where the Salicru SLC X-PERT Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) are an essential part in ensuring the electrical protection and autonomy of the centre. The on-line double-conversion technology and the compact design of these systems offer great operating efficiency, reaching up to 97% in high efficiency mode.
This 90 thousand square-metre facility includes five buildings plus the generation centre, and it is located very close to the hubs of the major tech companies in Ireland. The power centre is equipped with ten dual combustion turbine generators, eight heat recovery steam generators, two steam turbine generators, and two SPG air-cooled condensers.
Echelon is the owner and manager of six different data centres, four of which are in Ireland and two in the United Kingdom, with a combined potential capacity of close to one gigawatt.
