Salicru, the official supplier of the Spanish Pavilion at the Shanghai Universal Expo, has installed 35 Iluest devices in the Chinese (7) and Spanish (10) pavilions as well as in Celebration Square (2) and in other pedestrian areas inside and outside the fairgrounds (16).
After more than 15 years installing them in Spain and other countries like China, France, Poland, Tunisia and Morocco, Iluest light flow stabilizer dimmers are equipped with a series of advantages which, over time, have become reference features in most public lighting projects: mainly, the reduction of CO2 emissions and savings of up to 40% on light bills.
As part of Catalonia Week, Salicru signed two collaboration agreements on 29 May to develop two projects related to eco-efficiency lighting provided by Iluest devices in the cities of Beijing Miyun and Hangzhou. The agreement was signed during an official ceremony held in the Spanish pavilion to present the company and its eco-efficiency solutions. It was attended by representatives of the Chinese and Spanish governments, Salicru partners as well as energy sector companies and institutions.
Since 1994, the year Salicru entered the Chinese market, Iluest has become the reference brand for low consumption and low carbon emission public lighting in the Asian country. In the last decade, more than 5,000 of Salicru’s Iluest devices have been installed in large cities such as Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou and it is classified as “Recommended Technology” by the China Energy Conservation Association (EMCA) in national energy plans. Furthermore, Salicru was recently acknowledged by the Chinese government as one of the sector’s “Top 20” companies.
