Salicru has reached an innovative agreement with the control engineering company, Cinergia, with the aim of developing new uses and applications for the SLC CUBE3+ UPS.

Considered a leading product in the world of UPSs, the SLC CUBE3+ has a unique back-to-back power structure in which power can circulate bidirectionally since the rectifier/PFC input converter and the inverter output converter are symmetrical. This unique topology of the CUBE3+ opens the door to the implementation of numerous different functionalities to those that are characteristic of a UPS.

Thus, the SLC CUBE3+ can easily become a network emulator with the possibility of generating any kind of disturbance: in an electronic load with the possibility of emulating any usual load found in the real world; the possibility of recovering energy consumed by reintroducing it into the network; in battery emulators; in bidirectional battery chargers; in microgrid managers in combination with renewable energy and, in short, with different hybrid systems linked to energy efficiency, storage, renewable energy and auto-consumption.

The agreement between Salicru (as an expert in the design and series production of UPSs) and Cinergia (as an expert in power converter control) has already resulted in the implementation of various projects related to laboratories and verification and intelligent energy control companies.
