Salicru participated in and won the call for tenders organised by the Society for Economic Development and Tourism Promotion of Seville (PRODETUR) to boost energy savings and improve public lighting in the municipalities around the province.

PIMPAP’08 (Municipal Public Lighting Investment Plan), sponsored by PRODETUR and the Provincial Energy Agency of Seville, is aimed at 47 town governments which subsidizes nearly 90% of investments in energy savings measures.

Salicru will supply a total of 350 ILUEST devices (lighting flow dimmer stabiliser dimmers that stabilise the line and reduce consumption), with power of between 7.5 kVA and 60 kVA per device. The savings obtained is 7,300 MWh, meaning 4,100 Tm less in CO2 emissions.  The data is annual and accounts for all installed equipment.

The installation of the ILUEST in these municipalities will permit smart management of public lighting leading to 40% savings in each municipality's light bill and an improvement in the quality of life of the residents due to even, comfortable and less contaminating lighting.
