In modern solar power facilities, it is vitally important to have an effective tool to monitor and analyse the system. The EQX-sun smartphone and tablet app, from Salicru’s EQUINOX series, more than meets this need, as it monitors the current status of the photovoltaic power plant.
It helps installers offer a better service to their clients and greater efficiency in maintenance and troubleshooting. For the owner of the facilities, it is a useful viewing tool that helps him to understand his plant and its consumption. This new App enables the plant to be monitored intuitively and in real time, viewing the energy produced, the amount consumed by the loads and the amount taken from or injected into the mains.
The App also provides data on the cost savings achieved, the total reduction in CO2 and the equivalent in trees planted. Historical data of accumulated energy can also be consulted graphically by day, month or year.
With EQX-sun, the energy flows in the plant can be analysed in detail, with clear graphs combining the photovoltaic energy produced, that consumed by the loads and the self-consumed energy (the energy generated by the solar power plant that has been used by the loads).
In addition, the self-consumption quota is displayed (giving us an idea of how effectively our plant is working) and the self-sufficiency quota (indicating how independent of the mains our plant is).
EQX-sun is free and is available for iOS and Android.
EQUINOX are Salicru's solar inverters for mains connection. Its three series comprise a range of single-phase and three-phase equipment, which are an excellent option for the generation of electrical power in a wide range of photovoltaic facilities and are ideal for use in homes and commercial and industrial premises, allowing clean and cheap energy to be obtained.
