  • How do I install WinPower for Windows?

    • Go to the website www.salicru.com
    • From the top menu bar select “Products” and click on “Home” and then “UPS”.
    • Select the series number of your equipment.
    • Click on “Software” and a list of programmes will appear for different operating systems, where you can also download the UPS manual. Download the software to your operating system, which is "WinPower_setup_Windows” in this case.
    • Once downloaded, the executable appears in the “.zip” file so double click on it.
    • The WinPower installer starts. To continue, click “Next”.
    • In the serial number section, you have to use the following string of numbers: Serial number: “511C1-01220-0100-478DF2A”.
    • Select the programme's installation path and click on “Next”.
    • Click on “Install” to start the installation.
    • Click on “Done” to end the installation.
  • Where can I find WinPower’s serial number?

    • We can see the serial number in the previous section.
    • The serial number can be found in the download section of the program within the subsection “Documentation”.
    • You can download the pdf from where it is located or copy it directly from the name of the document.
    • The serial number is: “511C1-01220-0100-478DF2A
  • How do I install ViewPower for Windows?

    • Go to the website www.salicru.com
    • From the top menu bar select “Products” and click on “Home” and then “UPS”.
    • Once inside, select “SPS ONE”.
    • Click on “Software” and a list of programmes will appear for different operating systems, where you can also download the UPS manual. Download the software to your operating system, which is “installViewPower Windows” in this case.
    • Once downloaded, the executable appears in the .zip file so double click on it. Then a tab will open where you must press "Yes".
    • An installation assistant will appear and you can follow the steps marked by it by clicking "Next” until the following window appears:
    • Click "Install". Now all you have to do is wait until it installs itself.

    It might not let you install it due to incompatibility with NVIDIA graphic cards, so you should try:

    • Uninstalling WinPower
    • Restarting your computer
    • Temporarily disabling your "Antivirus"
    • Installing ViewPower with the antivirus disabled.
  • How do I install PowerMaster for Windows?

    • Go to the website www.salicru.com
    • From the top menu bar select “Products” and click on “Professional” > “UPS 3x400/230V” > “SPS ADVANCE T”.
    • Click on “Software” and a list of programmes will appear for different operating systems, where you can also download the UPS manual.
    • Download the software to your operating system, which is “PowerMaster Windows” in this case.
    • Once downloaded, unzip it and run it by double clicking on it and the executable “pm104-setup” appears in the .zip file.
    • The "Installer Wizard" will appear and you can select the installation language.
    • Then the “Setup - PowerMaster 1.0.4” window will appear. Click on "Next".
    • Accept the license agreement
    • Selecting a component: If you use a computer with a direct USB or Serial connection to the UPS, install the "Agent". If your computer is powered by a UPS already connected to an "Agent", has a remote control card installed or is connected to a PDU, you must install "Client". Click "Use recommendations" (symbol icon "? ”) to start a help wizard.

    NOTE: the “Agent” or “Client” cannot be installed on the same computer.

    • Select the destination and start menu folder.
    • Click “Finish” to complete the installation.
    • By default, your O.S. is Windows 10, which controls the UPS. You can see that a battery icon has appeared at the bottom right in the task bar.
    • You can now configure your power options like a laptop according to your needs.
  • How do I access Winpower?

    • Once installed, two new executable files will appear in applications (agent and monitor).
    • You should use the monitor to access the program to enable you to monitor your UPS.
    • You can also access the monitor through the "Toolbar" once there, we right click and choose“Start Monitor”.
    • Another way to get it would be clicking on the logo of the application.
  • When I open ViewPower, the browser opens but nothing appears.

    • To use ViewPower with your browser, you must have the latest version of “Adobe Flash Player” installed, which you can find using this link: http://get.adobe.com/es/flashplayer/otherversions/.
    • Once installed, restart the browser and the UPS monitor should appear.
  • How do I access PowerMaster once it is installed?

    Option 1:

    • Open the Windows browser and enter “Power Master Agent” or “Power Master Client” and the application “Power Master Agent” or “Power Master Client” will appear in the task bar (depending on which you have installed).
    • Click on it and the browser will open with the web interface.

    Option 2:

    • Open your browser and enter the following URL: “http://localhost:3052”.

    NOTE: To log in to PowerMaster, by default, the user name is “admin” and the password: “admin”.

  • I’ve configured the options but it doesn’t let me apply the changes.

    • To apply the changes you make, you have to be logged in as an Administrator.
    • If this is the first time you have opened the programme, you have to do the following:
    • Go to the System tab and select: “Work as administrator”.
    • The default password is “Administrator”.
    • If you want to change the password, click “Change Administrator password” in the same section.
    • Each time you change sections you must repeat the operation to be administrators and be able to validate the configurations.
  • I’ve configured the UPS to turn off remotely in ViewPower, but it doesn’t

    • To be able to turn off the computer remotely, you must have ViewPower installed.
    • Once inside ViewPower, log in as Administrator.
    • To log in as Administrator, click "Login" at the top. The default password is “administrator”.
    • Click on the tab in the menu at the top “Configuration UPS” > “Local shutdown” and enable the option “Accept the remote system shutdown command”.

    Enter the IPs of the PCs you want to turn off remotely and click “Add”.

  • How to see and configure the UPS from PowerMaster?

    • After installing PowerMaster, go to the Windows search engine and enter: “Equipment administration”.
    • Inside, access “System tools” >”Device Administrator” and search for “Batteries” > “HID UPS Battery”.
    • In “HID UPS Battery”, click on the right button “Update controller” and select “Search for controller software in the equipment”.
    • Click "Select a list of controllers available in the equipment".
    • In the "Model" window, select "Device compatible with HID" and press "Next".
    • Wait until the controller is fully installed and restart the computer.
  • How to view and configure the UPS?

    • Enter as administrator in: "System" > "Work as Administrator". The default password is: “Administrator”.
    • Go to "System" > "Automatic UPS search", and the UPS will be configured so that it is visible.
    • If this doesn't work, go to "System" > "Configuration of the COM port" and add the USB to be able to connect to the UPS.
  • I’ve configured the options but it doesn’t let me apply the changes

    • To log in as Administrator, click "Login" at the top. The default password is “administrator”.
    • NOTE: If you do not and you try to make changes to the default settings, it will automatically ask you to log in by entering the administrator’s password.
  • How do I configure the UPS to operate without PowerMaster?

    • Go to the Windows search engine and enter: “Equipment administration”.
    • Inside, access “System tools” >”Device Administrator” and search for “User Interface Devices (HID)” > “Device compatible with HID”.
    • In “Device compatible with HID”, click on the right button “Update controller” and select “Search for controller software in the equipment”.
    • Click "Select a list of controllers available in the equipment".
    • In the "Model" window, select "HID UPS Battery" and press "Next".
    • A battery icon must appear at the bottom right in the task bar.
  • How do I configure UPS email alerts in WinPower?

    • Open WinPower.
    • Then, as administrator, access: "System" > "Work as Administrator". The default password is: “Administrator”.
    • Click “Tools” and then select “Email configuration”.
    • If you use the office365 mailbox, you must complete the different sections manually. Enter “smtp.office365.com” in “SMTP Server” section, “587” in “Port” section and “TLS” in “Encryption” section. In the “SMTP User” section you must indicate our email address and check the “Authentication password required” option and enter it. You will then insert the email address to which you want to receive emails.

                NOTE 1: You can use the same email account to send and receive emails.

                NOTE 2: If you use Gmail in the "SMTP User" section, make sure that we have activated "Access to unsafe applications" in your Google account.

    • Then select the cases in which WinPower will send you the emails and press the "Accept" button.
    • If you use Gmail you can select your SMTP in “SMTP Server” and the port it uses will be automatically filled. In the “SMTP User” section you must indicate our email address and check the “Authentication password required” option and enter it. You will then insert the email address to which you want to receive emails.

                NOTE 1: You can use the same email account to send and receive emails.

                NOTE 2: If you use Gmail in the "SMTP User" section, make sure that we have activated "Access to unsafe applications" in your Google account.

    • Then select the cases in which WinPower will send you the emails and press the "Accept" button.
  • How do I configure UPS email alerts in ViewPower?

    • To do this, open ViewPower.
    • First of all, log in as Administrator and click "Login" at the top. The default password is “administrator”.
    • From the top menu bar, click “ViewPower Configuration” and select the “Email” option.
    • If you use the office365 mailbox, you must complete the different sections manually. Enter “smtp.office365.com” in “SMTP Server” section and “587” in “Port” section. In the section "Send from", you must indicate your email address, mail user in "User name" (email address) and "Password authentication required" and enter it. Then indicate the email address at which you want to receive Emails "Email address". 
    • Click "Apply" to save changes.
    • If you use the gmail mailbox, you must complete the different sections manually. Enter “smtp.gmail.com” in “SMTP Server” section and “465” and “SSL” in “Port” section. In the section "Send from", you must indicate your email address, mail user in "User name" (email address) and "Password authentication required" and enter it. Then indicate the email address at which you want to receive Emails "Email address". 
    • Click "Apply" to save changes.
  • What is the PowerMaster user name and password?

    • By default, the user name is: “admin” and the password: “admin”.

  • How can I indicate what the UPS should to do in the event of a fault?

    • From WinPower, go to UPS and click “Shutdown parameters”.
    • There are a number of options:
    • If you select the “Battery backup time” option, once the allotted time elapses, the computer will shut down or suspend depending on what you select in the following options.
    • If you activate “System”, you can choose what you want the system to do when a fault is detected, whether to shut down or suspend.
    • You can configure the system to accept remote commands "Remote shutdown of users" before shutting down or to run them itself indicating in both cases which commands to run and whether they are remote or not.
    • Finally, you can also configure "Shutdown Alarm Parameters" the system to warn you when there is a power failure and set the time intervals for the warnings.
  • Can I send messages to mobiles from ViewPower?

    • The mobile messaging function is available but requires a component that has to be purchased separately.
  • How can I configure the UPS to automatically turn on or off?

    • Go to the “UPS” section at the top and then select “Programming UPS startup and shutdown”.
    • A window will appear indicating whether any startups or shutdowns have been programmed with the colour code explained.
    • To programme a startup/shutdown, click “Add startup/shutdown” and select the frequency
    • Whether you want it to occur once, every week or on specific days.
    • Select the times and the device you want to shut down and, once everything is configured, click “OK”.
    • You can check that it appears on the list of tasks pending and that it is shown on the calendar.
  • Sign up

    • Go to www.salicru.com
    • From the top menu bar, select “Technical Support”, and then “Online Support” from the drop down menu.
    • If you do not have an account, click “Sign up here”.
    • Fill in the form with your details to sign up.
    • If sign up is successful, you will receive a message to the email address you gave during sign up.
  • Can I check the status of the UPS and all incidents?

    • Yes. To do so, just go to the “Log” section at the top and inside you will find various sections such as event logging where you can check the status of the latest incidents.
    • There is also a “Data logging” section where you can consult any transfer of data that the device has performed.
  • Accessing the chat:

    • To contact technical support, click “How can we help you?” in the bottom right-hand corner. A window containing your details will open where you can write your question.
  • I’ve installed WinPower, but when I try to install ViewPower, it tells me that it has already been installed

    • As WinPower can cause issues with Windows when installing ViewPower, it is necessary to uninstall WinPower first and then reinstall it.
  • Can I send messages to mobiles from WinPower?
