  • How do I install PowerMaster for Windows?

    • Go to the website www.salicru.com
    • From the top menu bar select “Products” and click on “Professional” > “UPS 3x400/230V” > “SPS ADVANCE T”.
    • Click on “Software” and a list of programmes will appear for different operating systems, where you can also download the UPS manual.
    • Download the software to your operating system, which is “PowerMaster Windows” in this case.
    • Once downloaded, unzip it and run it by double clicking on it and the executable “pm104-setup” appears in the .zip file.
    • The "Installer Wizard" will appear and you can select the installation language.
    • Then the “Setup - PowerMaster 1.0.4” window will appear. Click on "Next".
    • Accept the license agreement
    • Selecting a component: If you use a computer with a direct USB or Serial connection to the UPS, install the "Agent". If your computer is powered by a UPS already connected to an "Agent", has a remote control card installed or is connected to a PDU, you must install "Client". Click "Use recommendations" (symbol icon "? ”) to start a help wizard.

    NOTE: the “Agent” or “Client” cannot be installed on the same computer.

    • Select the destination and start menu folder.
    • Click “Finish” to complete the installation.
    • By default, your O.S. is Windows 10, which controls the UPS. You can see that a battery icon has appeared at the bottom right in the task bar.
    • You can now configure your power options like a laptop according to your needs.
  • How do I access PowerMaster once it is installed?

    Option 1:

    • Open the Windows browser and enter “Power Master Agent” or “Power Master Client” and the application “Power Master Agent” or “Power Master Client” will appear in the task bar (depending on which you have installed).
    • Click on it and the browser will open with the web interface.

    Option 2:

    • Open your browser and enter the following URL: “http://localhost:3052”.

    NOTE: To log in to PowerMaster, by default, the user name is “admin” and the password: “admin”.

  • How to see and configure the UPS from PowerMaster?

    • After installing PowerMaster, go to the Windows search engine and enter: “Equipment administration”.
    • Inside, access “System tools” >”Device Administrator” and search for “Batteries” > “HID UPS Battery”.
    • In “HID UPS Battery”, click on the right button “Update controller” and select “Search for controller software in the equipment”.
    • Click "Select a list of controllers available in the equipment".
    • In the "Model" window, select "Device compatible with HID" and press "Next".
    • Wait until the controller is fully installed and restart the computer.
  • How do I configure the UPS to operate without PowerMaster?

    • Go to the Windows search engine and enter: “Equipment administration”.
    • Inside, access “System tools” >”Device Administrator” and search for “User Interface Devices (HID)” > “Device compatible with HID”.
    • In “Device compatible with HID”, click on the right button “Update controller” and select “Search for controller software in the equipment”.
    • Click "Select a list of controllers available in the equipment".
    • In the "Model" window, select "HID UPS Battery" and press "Next".
    • A battery icon must appear at the bottom right in the task bar.
  • What is the PowerMaster user name and password?

    • By default, the user name is: “admin” and the password: “admin”.
