The installation of Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS) with innovative lithium-ion batteries is becoming increasingly common in our market. Storms and their associated phenomena provoke different incidents in the electricity supply, such as lightning strikes, strong winds that can cause damage to the wiring of the electricity network, transformer failures, mechanical breakdowns, etc.
Following the hiatus caused by the pandemic, the organisation of trade fairs and face-to-face events on different topics in our sector is back in full swing. Specifically, Salicru will be exhibiting at a wholesale convention, a hospital engineering seminar and a data centretrade fair.
Salicru has supplied 220 1000 and 2000 VA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units from its SLC TWIN PRO2 series to the National Hospital in Niamey. The units will be used to guarantee the energy supply for the respirators recently installed in the hospital to cope with the coronavirus pandemic.
